Howard Schusteff’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis in personal injury and small business disputes for both plaintiff and defendant. In his 30+ years of practice, Howard has tried numerous cases, before juries, judges and arbitrators; trying in excess of 100 cases to verdict before a jury as well as many bench trials and countless arbitrations. Because of his extensive experience, Howard can determine the chances for potential recovery prior to the filing of a lawsuit. Howard has also worked on the defense side of personal injury cases, which gives him a unique perspective into the anticipated defenses and conceivable strategies that may be employed by opposing counsel. Part of his day-to-day work involves interacting with insurance companies and physicians, opposing lawyers and judges. These communications enable Howard the ability to guide his clients through the post-accident environment, which requires a great deal of expertise.
Howard has two children and lives on the North side of Chicago, Illinois.
